With the Optic Neuritis, and being on steroids, I have been feeling bloody awful, not sleeping well and just generally feeling blah. When I came out from your massage, I felt the best I had felt in the last couple of weeks. I felt like you had detoxed my body from all the toxic things I've had to take, both intravenously and orally. The steroids have been very unstabilizing emotionally and physically. Twenty five years ago I underwent a radical mastectomy for breast cancer which left me with limited muscular function on one side of my chest. As an active and keen gardener I suffered bad aches and pains in the shoulders and upper back as a direct result of my determination to carry on as normal with my hobby. Since starting to come to Self Incorporated about three years ago, my back and shoulder pains have gone completely and my stress levels have gone down several notches as a result. I have been coming to Self Incorporated for over a year now and wouldn’t miss my regular massages for anything! Both Carol & Elizabeth have a knack of relaxing me and making all of my stresses disappear. I also find that the wax that they use is far superior to any oils that I have had in other massages – my skin feels so soft afterwards. I have now persuaded both my husband and my mother (who is almost 90) to also have regular massages - though it didn’t take much persuading as they were hooked after the first one. Recession or no recession, this is one necessity I won’t give up! Carol |
