cananga odorata
Known in the orient as 'the perfume tree' and comes from the Malay 'Alang-Ilang' indicating the way the flowers hang. Uplifting, releases tension, anger and fear. Can be used for both oily and dry skins as it has a balancing effect on sebum. Ylang Ylang has an aphrodisiac quality making it a common ingredient in perfumes and aftershaves.
